On June 29, 2019, PayPorte Global Systems, Nigeria’s first Omni-channel retail company, launched her first offline store in Lagos, Nigeria in grand style.

Lovers of fashion from Lagos and beyond were treated to a unique shopping experience at their offline store, this is sequel to the re-launch of their new website payporte.com which went live officially on June 24,2019; featuring more unique contemporary designs and interface.

The one stop fashion store features a wide variety of trendy and urban fashion and lifestyle products for the style forward young men and women and even offers a special payment package which allows customers a soft landing, as they can pay for commodities at their convenience; this package is the “Payporte Pay Small-Small”.

Despite a tight schedule and a competent team to cover the launch, I couldn’t afford to miss this grand experience; so I joined the team to be a part of the event. Really what else could I have enjoyed more than seeing the kind of metamorphosis Payporte just did? The popular groove was to metamorphose from offline to online and hardly otherwise.

Our arrival was a little behind the press conference but we caught the CEO sharing the most plausible words of advice for entrepreneurs; “maintain good company, prepare for disappointments and stay focused”.

We did our obsequies and I went about checking out the array of beautiful pieces; from Apparels, shoes, Jewelries to beach wears; they were all waving at me to pick an item.

Handsome guys and beautiful ladies littered the store, each picking and checking out fashion pieces; something I found exciting was the customer care representative, they are quick to catch up with you and they are super polite. They understand every style language and what could you ask for as a fashionova?

Proudly sponsored by Belvedere Vodka, it was another opportunity for shoppers to meet with popular fashion icons as Big Brother Nigeria ex-housemates were at the store, already donning pieces from Payporte. On the roll call were Fashion stylist, Kanyinsola Latinwo; fashion icon, Noble Igwe; Uti Nwachukwu and Munirat Antoinette Lecky a.k.a Anto of Big Brother Naija fame; Maurice, Talent Manager; Edgar, Mary Ekah from ThisDay; Christie Anyanwu from The Sun and a bunch of other beautiful people too numerous to name here.

Of course primary hosts, CEO Payporte Global Systems, Bassey Eyo and Head of Product Management, Adenike Bankole were on hand to engage with customers on the dynamism of the Payporte brand.

The high point of the launch was the runway show that featured pieces from trendy fashion brands from Nigeria and across the world.
