Lagosians and fashion lovers from across the globe were treated to a great time at the Lagos Fashion Week 2019. Big names like Bridget Awosika, Haute Baso, ASSIAN, Meite Awa, Mai Atafo, Style Temple, Maki Oh, Fruche, Ejiro Amos Tafiri, Cynthia Abila, Sisiano, Orange Culture, Tokyo James, Yutee Rone, DZYN, Eki Silk Bloke, Wuman, Jermaine Bleu and a host of others.
Day 1
Lagos, the city of art, creativity and excellence, kicked off this year’s edition of Lagos Fashion Week on October 24th at the Federal Palace Hotel, and per usual fashion designers and fashion, lovers brought their A-game.
For day one, the show began with Orange Culture and ended with Tokyo James. Other top designers, like Yutee Rone, DZYN, and Eki Silk also presented along with emerging designers such as Bloke, Wuman and Jermaine Bleu.
In a presentation that had classically trained violinist Victor Ekpo playing Davido‘s “Blow My Mind”, Eki Orleans debuted eye-catching her eye-catching prints in an array of silk designs. The pieces are colourful, fluid and asymmetrical with the addition of a few bikinis. See the full collection below.
