Ulta Beauty has acquired British beauty retailer Space NK from owner Manzanita Capital, the US company said Thursday.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but previous reports pegged the company’s value in excess of $300 million.
The deal gives the American beauty giant a strong entry into the UK market, where Space NK operates a string of 83 stores specialising in high-end beauty products.
Ulta already operates in Mexico and the Middle East and has highlighted international expansion as a key growth opportunity.
