Puma said on Thursday that it had appointed Adidas’ former chief information officer, Andreas Hubert, as chief operating officer from September 1, expanding its management board to five members.
Hubert will be in charge of Puma’s global sourcing operations, the company said, as it shifts responsibilities that were previously divided between its chief product officer, CFO and CEO roles to the new position.
Puma’s chief, Arthur Hoeld, was also a former top executive at Adidas before joining the struggling sportswear brand as CEO.
