Job Title: Senior Client Advisor
Reports to: Assistant Store Manager
Location: Pimlico Road
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week
Job Purpose:
Situated on the renowned Pimlico Road – celebrated for its world-class interiors, fine art, and bespoke design – our store showcases an exceptional collection of luxury homeware, furniture, artwork, lifestyle pieces, fashion and leathergoods.
To deliver exceptional sales results while acting as a role model and mentor to the team. You will combine deep product knowledge with the ability to build lasting client relationships and contribute to store leadership.
Responsibilities:
Sales & Performance
- Consistently achieve individual and team objectives, be accountable for sales results, and support the team in their sales.
- Demonstrate sales leadership and advanced clienteling skills, leveraging all available tools to develop existing clients and recruit new clients to build long-term relationships.
Client Experience & Relationship Building
- Connect with clients in an engaging, emotional way to provide an exceptional and memorable experience.
- Provide an excellent customer experience to each client: greeting, listening, assisting, advising, and exceeding expectations.
- Engage with a diverse client base, always putting them at ease to develop long-lasting relationships.
- Maintain regular communication with clients via email, phone, messages, or personalised notes.
- Develop and grow your client book, keeping client information updated on relevant company tools.
Brand & Product Expertise
- Exemplify and share our brand history and heritage.
- Highlight product categories through exceptional product knowledge, using storytelling to cross-sell and upsell.
Teamwork & Collaboration
- Perform as a team player, actively collaborating in all activities contributing to the store’s objectives.
- Support management in developing the team through mentoring and coaching, particularly for new joiners.
Store Presentation & Operations
- Actively participate in visual merchandising in accordance with J.W. Anderson’s visual standards.
- Maintain products in an efficient, clean, secure, and organised manner, both front and back of house.
- Support with inventory management and ad hoc back-of-house tasks.
Standards & Compliance
- Follow company policies and procedures, including J.W. Anderson’s standards for grooming and behaviour.
Skills and experience:
- Proven success in luxury interiors, homeware, or lifestyle sales.
- Deep interest in fashion, art, and culture.
- Strong clienteling skills with the ability to work effectively with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs).
- Exceptional Client Advisor with proven experience in a luxury retail environment, consistently achieving individual goals and contributing to team results.
- Established network within the luxury sector, with the ability to attract new clients and build, grow, and maintain a relevant client portfolio.
- Client-centric mindset, committed to delivering a personalised and outstanding customer experience.
- Confident, adaptable, and empathetic in style and approach. Highly effective communication skills with a strong client service orientation.
- Results-driven with a commercial mindset, while maintaining a collaborative, team-player attitude.
- Naturally inclusive and open-minded.
