This season brings with it an array of colours from bold colours to neutral and dull colour statements. All over social media, I seem to find really eye catching colours and can’t seem to get enough. Oh well, I had to conduct some sort of opinion poll to finally come up with the most-talked-about colours this season.
CAMEL COLOUR
CAMEL IS THE NEW BLACK. You just can’t help but fall in love with this colour. It is a new must-have colour. This neutral piece gives you a classy and chic look and is suitable for any occasion. The beautiful thing about camel is that any colour can be paired with it ranging from normal colours to animal prints, etc. This is because it is a neutral shade and it is versatile. Although, I feel its best paired with white.
NEON COLOURS
Wearing neon colours could be fun. Neon colours are bright, vivid, reflective and eye-catching colours. They range from extremely bright pink, lemon, yellow, e.t.c.
Neon colours are best worn with neutral shades like nudes and metallics. They are easily worn on the beach and can be appropriate for hanging out ‘with the girls’ in casual settings. They are extremely cool when paired with jeans too. They are not work-fit due to their extremely bright and screaming shades.
I don’t know about you, but I particularly love neon colour for accessories like shoes and bags paired with any other clothing item. For instance, you can decide to wear an all black outfit and brighten it up with neon yellow shoes.
COBALT BLUE
Cobalt blue is sure one of the colours you should add to your wardrobe. Its classy and elegant shade does catch an eye. It pairs well with a plethora of colours like any shade of yellow, beige, pink, black, white, etc. I sure do like it when combined with black and white patterns. It can also be worn with monochromatic blues but accessorize it with some other colour so it doesn’t end up looking like a school or security uniform.
Another name for cobalt blue is royal blue and its such a bright colour that is hard to miss.
